This study aims to examine how advanced practitioners conceptualise, interpret, and
actively negotiate the boundaries of their professional scope of practice within
contemporary healthcare contexts. Seeking to explore the factors that influence
these boundaries — including institutional policies, interprofessional dynamics,
regulatory frameworks, and patient care demands — and to understand how
practitioners navigate the tensions between autonomy, accountability, and
collaboration in their daily clinical roles.
