Clinical Expertise

I have significant experience as a Consultant Nurse with a strong and well-established background in Acute Medicine, bringing a depth of clinical expertise to complex and fast-paced care environments. Over the course of my career, I have also developed extensive experience in “front door” services, where rapid assessment, decision-making, and patient flow are critical.

 

I have worked in the Emergency Department, as an Advanced Practitioner, spanning a wide range of clinical areas, including Medical Same Day Emergency Care (SDEC), Streaming/Rapid Assessment, Minors, Majors, General Practice, and the Resuscitation unit. This breadth of experience has equipped me with advanced skills in managing undifferentiated patients, prioritising care in high-pressure situations, and leading within multidisciplinary teams.
